Perpetual Yahrzeit Program

The words of the Mourner’s Kaddish have comforted Jews throughout the centuries. We recite it to honor loved ones who once filled our lives and are now departed. You can ensure that Kaddish will be said family member(s) in perpetuity. 

Perpetual Yahrzeit – $1,000 

Jewish Home Foundation’s Perpetual Yahrzeit ensures that Kaddish will be recited every year on the Shabbat that coincides with the anniversary of your loved one’s passing. On that day, the name of the departed, and the comforting words of Kaddish, will be recited in the Jewish Home Family Synagogue on the Rockleigh Campus. In addition, each year you will receive notification from the Jewish Home Foundation of the Yahrzeit date of your loved one. 

Your one-time $1,000 donation will support the Jewish Home Family’s mission to make aging a vital and meaningful experience through understanding and meeting the unique needs of each individual, providing care and services rooted in our tradition of Jewish values.
