Kaplen Family Senior Residence

The Jewish Home Assisted Living (JHAL) is a beautiful place to call home. Located just steps from downtown River Vale, New Jersey, JHAL offers general assisted living and a separate wing for those who are memory impaired. Volunteers are always appreciated. Guest speakers, musical entertainers and card and Mah Jong players are most welcome to apply to our volunteer program. Children over 12 are also welcome to volunteer to assist with game programs, pet visits and more.

Russ Berrie Home For Jewish Living

The Jewish Home at Rockleigh is a state-of-the-art long-term care and rehabilitation center located on 16 beautiful acres in Rockleigh, New Jersey.

Volunteers are needed to visit residents, play cards and help document personal histories. Guest lecturers are needed to present at our Jewish Home University Educational Program. Musical entertainers and artists are also welcome. Children under 12 years of age may participate through our Grandbuddies Program.

We appreciate everything all the good folks at AL have done for our mom. Mom felt so very welcomed during her time there. From the caregivers to nurses and everyone - very caring and encouraging. It is so good to have a relationship with you all for any future respite or other needs.

We tried hiring a health aide directly and ended up having to provide last-minute backup and support. The 24-hour on-call and nursing support makes an incredible difference.
