The Jewish Home Family: Honoring Older Adults for Over 110 Years
Founded in 1915 in Jersey City, The Jewish Home Family has more than a century-long tradition of providing high-quality, individualized care for elders in New Jersey and New York. Today, it encompasses several organizations, including the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home Assisted Living, and Jewish Home Foundation. The organization addresses unmet needs in elder care while maintaining a strong focus on serving the Jewish community.
Jewish Home at Rockleigh
Opened in 2001 and open to all regardless of religious creed, the Jewish Home at Rockleigh provides long-term and sub-acute rehabilitative care on a 16-acre campus in Bergen County, NJ. The 180-bed facility offers skilled nursing and geriatric care to residents from Bergen, Rockland, and Hudson Counties. The Home is one of the few in the area to offer Glatt Kosher meals under KHC supervision.
The facility features a spacious, state-of-the-art environment with all private rooms, supported by a team of nurses, aides, therapists, dieticians, and social workers.
